I recently set up my Shelly Plug S to work with my solar PV system’s excess energy, and it’s been a fantastic addition to my smart home setup. Using EVCC to automate the switch-on process has been seamless, but I’m now looking to enhance it further with a Shelly Script. The script calculates how long the plug has been running and resets the counter daily to track usage. My goal is to have it shut off after 180 minutes of operation, but I’m stuck on retrieving the script’s return value through the Shelly API. I’ve tried various methods, but the logs only show the script’s status, not the actual runtime data. Has anyone successfully integrated a Shelly Script with EVCC or know how to fetch the return value? I’d greatly appreciate any insights or workarounds. ![]()
On a different note, I upgraded my doorbell camera to a 4K model with PIR motion detection, and it’s made a huge difference in reducing false alarms. While setting it up was a bit challenging, the improved security and reliability have been worth the effort. If anyone else is considering an upgrade, I highly recommend exploring newer models with advanced features. ![]()
