Hey everyone, I’ve been exploring the world of MQTT and BLE integration in my smart home setup. Recently, I came across the idea of using a Shelly Plus Plug S as a MQTT BLE gateway, which piqued my interest. I’ve been using ESP32-based solutions before, and the thought of repurposing a Shelly device for this purpose seemed intriguing.
I’ve heard that Tasmota firmware might be a viable option for this, but I’m still in the research phase. Does anyone have experience with running a BLE gateway on Shelly devices? I’m curious about the hardware compatibility, especially regarding the ADC and GPIOs. Any tips or resources would be greatly appreciated!
I’m also wondering if there’s a community-modified firmware that could simplify this setup. It would be amazing to have a reliable BLE gateway without the need for additional hardware. Let me know if anyone has successfully implemented this or has any troubleshooting advice.
Thanks in advance for your insights! ![]()
