Hi everyone, I’m excited to share my experience with integrating smart lighting in my college apartment. With five students sharing the space, we wanted a system that was both convenient and energy-efficient. After doing some research, we decided to go with Wyze bulbs for their affordability and reliability.
We set up a bulb in each of the five bedrooms and installed a few more in the kitchen and living area. To control everything, we opted for Alexa Echo Dots in each room, allowing voice control for seamless operation. One thing we found particularly useful was setting up separate Wyze accounts for each roommate, making it easy to manage their own bulbs while sharing the common areas.
To ensure privacy, we avoided adding any cameras to the setup. Overall, the system has worked out great, providing us with a smart and efficient way to manage our lighting needs. If anyone has questions or suggestions, feel free to reach out!
