Hey everyone, I’m really excited to share my experience with integrating Govee smart lights into my home setup. I’ve been using Govee for a while now, and I must say, their products have really elevated my smart home game. I recently decided to take it a step further by customizing my lighting setup using 3D printing, and the results have been amazing!
I’ve always loved the idea of having lights that can change colors and brightness based on the mood or activity. With Govee’s wide range of RGB and RGBW bulbs, I’ve been able to create a truly dynamic lighting system. But I wanted something more personalized, so I turned to 3D printing to design custom mounts and diffusers that perfectly fit my space.
The process was a bit challenging at first, but with some research and trial and error, I managed to create some really cool designs. I even shared my models in the Crafter’s Corner Club where others have been inspired to create their own builds. It’s been great to see the community come together and share ideas!
One thing I’d love to see more of is integration with other smart home devices. I’ve been using Alexa to control my Govee lights, but I’m curious if others have successfully integrated them with Google Home or other platforms. Also, I’m wondering if there’s a way to automate the lights based on time of day or specific routines without relying on multiple apps.
If anyone has tips or tricks for optimizing their Govee setup, or if you’ve tried any unique 3D printing projects with Govee products, I’d love to hear about it! Let’s keep the creativity flowing and make our smart homes even smarter together. ![]()
