Integrating Smart Lights and Sensors for a Seamless Home Experience

Integrating smart lights and sensors into my home has been an exciting journey! I recently set up Netatmo sensors to monitor CO2 levels and connected them with Hue lights for an automated response. The goal was to have the lights flash whenever the CO2 level exceeded 1000 ppm. Initially, everything worked smoothly, but I ran into an issue where the automation didn’t trigger consistently. After some troubleshooting, I realized the sensor data wasn’t updating as frequently as I thought. I adjusted the automation to check the sensor every 10 minutes and added a delay to ensure the data was accurate. Now, the system works perfectly, and it’s a great way to maintain air quality awareness. I’d love to hear if anyone else has tips for optimizing sensor-based automations. :star2:
