Hey everyone! I’m really excited to share some progress I’ve made with integrating smart lights into my Airbnb space. The goal here is to create a seamless and luxurious experience for guests while maintaining control and automation from my end.
So, I started by installing several motion-activated lights throughout the space. These are connected to my smart home hub and are set to turn on automatically when guests enter different areas. It’s been a huge hit so far, as guests have mentioned how convenient and welcoming it feels.
I also added some dimmable LED strips under the bed, which not only provide a cozy ambiance but also serve as a subtle nightlight. I’ve included a screenshot of the setup below—love how it turns out!
To give guests a bit of control, I created a dedicated Lovelace view where they can adjust the lighting to their preference. I’m using CCH to limit their access to this view only, which seems to be working well.
