Hey everyone!
I’m relatively new to the world of Home Assistant and smart home technology, but I’m really excited to dive in and start automating my space. I came across this Moes zigbee light switch on AliExpress and decided to give it a try. However, I’m running into a bit of trouble getting it to work properly, and I was hoping someone here could help me figure it out.
The switch itself seems to pair just fine with my setup—it shows up in the list of devices, and I can see its details. But when I try to control it, nothing happens. It’s supposed to be a single-gang switch, so I was hoping it would be straightforward to set up. I’ve tried using a few different drivers, but none of them seem to be making a difference. Right now, it’s not working with the Zemismart driver, which is what I was initially trying out.
Here’s what I know about the device:
- Endpoint ID: 01
- Application: 50
- Manufacturer: _TZ3000_hhiodade
- Model: TS0011
I’ve also included a link to the product page on AliExpress for reference, in case anyone has experience with this specific model or similar devices. I’m not sure if the fact that it’s an EU-only listing is causing any issues, especially since I’m in the UK. I’ve heard that sometimes devices designed for one region can have compatibility problems in another, but I’m not entirely sure how that applies here.
I’ve tried a few troubleshooting steps already:
- I’ve reset the switch multiple times to ensure it’s pairing correctly.
- I’ve checked the network settings to make sure everything is on the same subnet.
- I’ve reviewed the logs in Home Assistant to see if there are any error messages, but they don’t seem to be pointing me in a clear direction.
If anyone has experience with Moes switches or similar devices, I’d really appreciate any advice you could offer. Whether it’s a suggestion for a different driver, a troubleshooting tip, or just a nudge in the right direction, I’m all ears! ![]()
Thanks in advance for your help!
