I noticed there was no G-wire connected to the thermostat or the HVAC system. After some research and a few trial runs, I managed to splice the wires near the HVAC unit and get everything connected properly. It was a bit nerve-wracking, but seeing the thermostat and fan work seamlessly together made it all worth it!
