I’ve been diving into the world of smart home automation, and I’m absolutely thrilled with how much I’ve been able to streamline my daily life. One of the most exciting projects I’ve undertaken recently is integrating my smart thermostat to follow a weekly schedule based on calendar weeks. This idea came to me as I was trying to optimize my energy usage while maintaining comfort in my home.
The challenge was figuring out how to set up the thermostat to alternate settings between odd and even weeks. For instance, during odd weeks, I wanted the thermostat to keep the temperature at 17°C in the morning and 22°C in the afternoon, and then switch those settings for even weeks. At first glance, it seemed a bit daunting, but with some research and experimentation, I managed to create a system that works seamlessly.
