I’ve been exploring ways to enhance my home automation setup, particularly with temperature control. Currently, I’m using an Aqara Zigbee Thermostat alongside a room temperature sensor with Better Thermostat, but I’ve encountered a couple of issues. The thermostat doesn’t display the set temperature without manual interaction, and I can’t adjust the temperature directly from the device anymore—so I had to remove Better Thermostat.
I’m curious if there’s a thermostat or a separate device (preferably Zigbee) that can display the set temperature without requiring me to press any buttons. Ideally, it would use e-paper or a passive LCD display for readability. I’d love to hear recommendations or experiences from others who’ve tackled similar challenges.
