I recently had an interesting experience while integrating my SmartStart device with a Minoston LR outdoor plug. I already had a Zooz ZSE41 Z-Wave contact sensor connected to my hub, and when I scanned the Minoston LR plug, it appeared in my SmartStart list with the same name and location as the existing sensor. I didn’t make any changes in the app, and it didn’t cause any issues, but it was definitely unexpected.
I wondered if this overlap could cause any problems or if the pairing was somehow incorrect. Would the new device interfere with the existing one, or would I end up with duplicate entries? It was a bit confusing, but fortunately, everything seems to be working smoothly. I just wanted to share this experience in case others have encountered similar situations or have insights to share. It’s always reassuring to hear from the community when something unusual happens during setup!
