I’ve recently made the switch from Wink to SmartThings and I must say, it’s been an exciting journey! However, I’ve encountered a small hiccup with my time-based automations. After the recent time change in most of the US (except Arizona), my outside lights started turning off an hour earlier than expected. For instance, they were set to turn off at 10:30 PM, but now they’re turning off at 9:30 PM.
At first, I thought it might be a simple oversight in the settings, but after double-checking everything, it seems the issue lies with the time zone adjustments. I’ve reached out to the community for advice and was pleasantly surprised by the quick and helpful responses. Turns out, it’s a common issue that can be easily fixed by adjusting the automation schedules in the SmartThings app.
