Hi everyone! I’ve been really excited about integrating my solar panels with my Mitsubishi air conditioning system using Homey. My goal is to maximize energy efficiency and reduce my carbon footprint. I’ve got a Smappee smart charger monitoring my solar production, and I want to leverage that data to control my air conditioning.Here’s what I’ve done so far: I’ve set up a rule where if the solar production exceeds 1 kWh, the air conditioner kicks in. This way, I’m using the excess solar energy to cool my home instead of drawing power from the grid. It’s been a fantastic way to stay comfortable while being eco-friendly.I’d love to hear from others who have successfully integrated their solar systems with smart home devices.
