Hello everyone, I just wanted to share my recent experience with integrating UPnP devices into my FS20 system. After months of research and setup, I’ve managed to create a seamless smart home experience that I’m really proud of. The FS20 system has been a game-changer for me, especially in the bathroom where lights dim up gently in the morning and set the mood in the evening with just a button press. It’s truly magical!
However, I ran into an interesting challenge when trying to sync my Noxon UPnP device with my existing setup. My goal was to have a specific playlist start playing when I trigger a scene, but I couldn’t find a straightforward way to do this. After some digging, I discovered that using a UPnP Control Point with command-line functionality was the key. While most solutions require mouse interaction, I finally found a tool that allows automation through scripts, which perfectly fits my needs.
