I’m also curious about how others have managed to combine multiple brands in their setups—I’m planning to mix in some Zigbee devices soon!
Speaking of Zigbee, I’ve been experimenting with Zigbee2MQTT and have to say, it’s been a game-changer for my setup. I’ve managed to connect over 125 devices, and while most of them are running smoothly, there’s been a peculiar issue with five of my Zigbee lamps. They sporadically turn on, even during the day, which is a bit puzzling. I’m wondering if this could be related to the firmware update from 1.4 to 2.0. Has anyone else encountered something similar? Any troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated!
On a lighter note, I’ve also been diving into creating custom lighting schedules for my wife and me. We have an alternating gym routine, and I’m trying to figure out how to set up a dynamic lighting schedule in my smart home system to accommodate our switching schedules. It’s been a fun challenge, and I’m determined to crack it this week!
Overall, I’m loving the flexibility and creativity that smart home tech brings to the table. It’s such a rewarding feeling to customize my space and make it truly my own.
