I’ve been exploring the integration of Wyze cameras into my OpenHAB setup, and I must say, it’s been a fascinating journey! 
After setting up a few Wyze cams, I noticed how seamlessly they integrate with OpenHAB, especially when using the microSD card for local storage. This setup not only avoids relying on my sometimes unstable rural internet connection but also provides a reliable way to monitor my home. 
One thing I particularly appreciate is the ability to customize notifications and alerts directly within OpenHAB. Whether it’s motion detection or sound alerts, having these integrated into my existing automation rules has made my home security system much more robust. 
However, I did encounter a minor hiccup with the notification sounds on my Sonos system. After some research and tweaking, I found that adjusting the volume settings and ensuring the sound files were correctly formatted resolved the issue. It’s these small challenges that make the learning process so rewarding!
