I recently decided to upgrade my home security by installing a Wyze lock. The setup process was straightforward, and the lock works seamlessly with the Wyze app. However, one of my main goals was to integrate it with Google Home so I could control it using my Google Nest speaker. Initially, I faced some confusion because the lock didn’t appear automatically in the Google Home app, even though it was linked to my account.After some research, I found that the integration requires a manual step in the Wyze app to enable Google Home compatibility. Once that was done, the lock appeared in my Google Home setup without any issues. Now, I can easily unlock my door using voice commands, which is incredibly convenient.This experience taught me the importance of checking both apps for integration settings. It’s a small detail, but it made a big difference in ensuring everything worked smoothly. I’m now confident in exploring more integrations with other smart devices to enhance my home automation setup.
