Integrating Zigbee and Wi-Fi Devices for a Seamless Smart Home Setup

Hi everyone, I’m new to the smart home scene and I’m really excited to start setting things up! I’ve been doing a lot of research and I have a mix of Zigbee and Wi-Fi devices that I want to integrate into my system. I have some Aqara sensors and a SONOFF Zigbee Gateway, but I’m also using Tapo plugs and Tuya sensors. I’m a bit confused about how everything will work together without needing multiple hubs.

I’ve heard that Zigbee devices can work with a central hub, but I’m not sure if I need the Aqara Hub specifically or if the SONOFF gateway will suffice. Also, I want to use the Aqara app to control my door sensors, but I’m not sure if that requires the Aqara Hub or if the SONOFF can handle it.

I’m planning to use Home Assistant on a Raspberry Pi, and I’m wondering if there’s a way to manage all these devices seamlessly. Should I stick with just one protocol, or is it possible to mix them? Any advice or recommendations would be super helpful! Thanks in advance for your guidance!
