Hi everyone, I’m Bruno, a newbie in the world of Home Automation. I’ve been diving into this fascinating tech for just over a month now, and I’m absolutely loving it! Currently, I’m running Home Assistant on a Raspberry Pi 3B+ with HassOS, and everything has been running smoothly so far.
Recently, I’ve been exploring Z-Wave devices and stumbled upon the ZLink brand. Their WD-100 dimmers and WS-100 switches caught my attention, especially since they come with S2 security and SmartStart features. They’re also more affordable here in Canada compared to other brands like Homeseer or Dragon Tech.
However, I’m a bit hesitant to dive into purchasing them without knowing others’ experiences. Have any of you tried these devices? How do they compare in terms of reliability and integration with Home Assistant? I’d love to hear your thoughts and any tips you might have for a first-time Z-Wave user like me!
