Hey everyone, I wanted to share some of my experiences integrating various smart home devices. It’s been quite a journey, and I’ve encountered both hurdles and triumphs along the way.

For instance, integrating my Shelly switches with my Home Assistant setup required a bit of tweaking, but once everything was configured, it worked like a charm!

After some research and adjustments, I found that upgrading to a more sensitive sensor and fine-tuning the settings made a world of difference.
On the topic of automation, I’ve been experimenting with creating custom routines using Node-RED. It’s fascinating how you can orchestrate complex sequences of actions with just a few nodes. For example, I set up a routine where my lights dim and my HVAC adjusts when I activate my ‘Relax’ mode. It’s these little touches that make home automation truly rewarding.
