Integration of Shelly Devices with Apple HomeKit

Hey everyone! I’ve been exploring the integration of Shelly devices into my smart home setup, and I’m really excited about the possibilities. I’ve managed to get my Shelly switches and sensors working seamlessly with Home Assistant, but I’m now looking to bridge the gap with Apple HomeKit. I’ve heard great things about the HomeKit Bridge add-on, but I’m curious about others’ experiences.

I’ve successfully paired my Shelly Pro 4PM with Home Assistant, and it’s been a breeze to set up automations. However, I’d love to have these devices also appear in Apple Home so I can use them with my Apple Watch and Siri shortcuts. I’ve followed the instructions to configure the HomeKit Bridge, but I’m wondering if there are any common pitfalls or best practices to keep in mind.

One thing I’m particularly interested in is maintaining the functionality of my existing automations while also having the devices available in Apple Home. Is there a way to ensure that changes made in Home Assistant are reflected in Apple Home without any conflicts? Also, I’d love to hear if anyone has experience with updating firmware or managing device settings through both platforms.

If anyone has tips on optimizing the integration or troubleshooting common issues, I’d be grateful! I’m really looking forward to leveraging the best of both worlds—Home Assistant’s flexibility and Apple HomeKit’s seamless integration with my daily routines.

Thanks in advance for your insights and experiences! :raised_hands:
