Introducing Sensus: A Powerful Tool for IR/RF Code Conversion

Hey everyone, I’m thrilled to share something I’ve been working on that I think will be super helpful for the community! I just published Sensus, an open-source online tool designed to make IR and RF code conversion and manipulation a breeze. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out, Sensus has got you covered.

What Does Sensus Do?

  • Multiple Format Support: Convert between Pronto, Raw, Decimal, Broadlink hex, and B64 formats with ease.
  • Code Generation: Create codes from manufacturer commands or Discrete Codes (like ‘A5 1C’ for that A/V receiver you love).
  • Code Editing: Modify Broadlink repeats, adjust frequencies, and generate random IR/RF sequences.
  • User-Friendly Interface: Customize the interface with different color themes and hide/show panels to suit your workflow.

Why I Built It

I was personally frustrated with the lack of a one-stop solution for all my IR/RF needs. After spending countless hours tweaking codes and formats, I decided to create a tool that would streamline the process for everyone. The result? Sensus, which I hope will become an essential tool for anyone working with smart home devices and remote controls.

How You Can Use It

  • Beginners: Easily convert codes without needing deep technical knowledge.
  • Advanced Users: Disassemble and modify code sequences with precision.
  • Everyone: Save time and reduce frustration by having all your tools in one place.
