iOS 27 Public beta 1 Camera Hub G3 not showing up at all on Apple home if in privacy mode

So in the new iOS 27 beta and Apple TV beta I’ve installed on my iPad/Apple TV the camera hub G3 works but only if you don’t put it in privacy mode.

If its in privacy mode it completely disappears from apple home, its not listed under the cameras, you can’t even see it in the home settings. It just completely disappears until you take it out of privacy mode and it instantly returns.

On my devices I’ve not updated yet (it’s a beta don’t install it on everything!) the camera is still listed but will do nothing at all until I take it out of privacy mode with the Aqara app.

This is different from the behaviour I had before when it was always listed under apple home and tapping the camera feed in apple home would take it out of privacy mode automatically

I know that this is most likely due to something apple has changed, I just wanted to make Aqara aware of it.

but disappear the entire camera section from Apple home app

To be sure, you should also make sure to report it to Apple by the feedback assistant in the beta or at feedbackassistant.apple.com.

As it’s the beta that changed and backwards compatibility shouldn’t break, it probably is a problem with the beta.

Well in the past I reported many issues but one that it is still bugging me is the heating of my iPhone 15 pro when I change the wallpaper 2/3 times in a row and this I report it back on ios26 betas and it is still present on on ios26 oficial releases and not on ios27 beta 3 still present so it is useless reporting to Apple via feedback app

We will just have to disagree. I do continue to believe that some bugs that are reported do get fixed.

Some but many not.why do you think they release so many betas?because they doesn’t care to fix many bug into one update.if you remember many times they have released an official and the next day another beta.and in the past 3/4 years every new oficial release on September always has issues and even after 7/8 versions of betas like now with ios27 on September the oficial for sure will have issues :rofl::rofl::rofl: .just now beta3 for me is more buggy then the first and second beta.

If only there was some way to report issues so they might be fixed. Oh well!

Well I am telling you all that from experience and I am using iPhones since iPhone 3.even calling Apple many times they do not fix nothing for example last year after ios26 release I start having issues on Apple home app with Apple TV and HomePods showing network issue many times in a day this lead to many problems with my smart home I called Apple and not even today they helped me to fix the issue I had to find help from Gemini and not Apple support but the weird part was that on my iMac with MacOS sequoia I had no issues on the home app only on my iPhone running ios26.this is why I am telling you Apple only listen who they want

I will continue to wholehearted disagree with your argument that “ it is useless reporting to Apple via feedback app”. This is simply not true.

It is not that you believe what you believe but that you are trying to convince others that you shouldn’t bother.

Well I am only telling my opinion and my experience my be your experience is other than mine.for this we do not have to make an big deal we wait and see what will come and be fix

Yep I’ve reported it to Apple. With things like this all we can do is report things and hope the problem can be solved. These are big complicated systems, we can’t expect companies even those as big as Apple or Aqara to find, diagnose and fix every single issue. It’s literally a needle in a haystack. Always report issues/bugs like this. It’s the only way to get a possible fix.

Sometimes it just takes a while though, that’s not a reason to not report.
