The T1 displays as a light switch (and I totally get it, on/off) but whenever I turn off my lights, it also goes off. I use it in the main water valve and the other day I totally forgot about it and spend probably half a day wondering why there was no water in my place! Wouldn’t it be easier just to declare it as a water accessory?
If you go into its settings, is there an option for “Display as”? If so, you can choose between fan, light, and switch. That would allow you to remove it from being considered a light, but it would depend on how the accessory type was coded from Aqara in the first place.
