Is there a way to unlock Tepo plug P125M energy consumption

So I bought a bunch of Tepo P125M plug, as it’s cheap and has matter support. I’m able to connect it via M3 Hub directly without downloading the Tapo app, and control it in Aqara app, the only thing is I can’t view the energy consumption in Aqara. Since I’m not planning to use Tapo app, is there a way to monitor the energy consumption? I’ve looked some other post saying Aqara team has some energy consumption feature added in matter protocol, but wondering what protocol that Tapo P125M is using, and if I can view the consumption.

Power consumption measurement has only been implemented since Matter 1.3. However, since the manufacturers of various on-board routers are still lagging behind in terms of developing and adapting Matter versions, it will take some time before we can fully utilize this. Regardless of whether it’s Apple, Google, or Alexa, as far as I know, none of the systems support energy measurement yet. I have a few IKEA sockets (Inspelning) that also support energy measurement, and I’ve integrated these (among other IKEA products) into Aqara via Matter. Here, too, the measurement data isn’t transmitted. It’s only visible in the IKEA app.
