Is there an Aqara camera that doesn’t need a wire?

I’m looking for in Aqara camera that I can mount under an eave facing my backyard. There’s no good way to run a wire without drilling through the wall and running it along an interior wall. Which would be ugly

I believe the G4 and G410 doorbell has two types of power: 6x AA batteries or 12V DC/AC. So you can just insert the AA batteries and no need to run any cables. The chime though is USB powered, but it’s installed inside, so it’s easier to power it.

Yes, I use the G410 for my front door and I was able to use the hardwires from my previous doorbell.

Oooh, I misread your question and thought you were talking about a doorbell camera, not a surveillance camera like G5. Unfortunately no, there is no such thing for now, although I see there is demand for that.

I have the same power issues in my backyard and need to run some wires back at some point but in the meantime I use long usb c cables to power my g100’s and feed them back inside the house. I also use a g4 doorbell in the back which captures my backyard perfectly.

There was a g510 I believe with solar panel shown at CES this year but no clue on release so a G4/410 may be a good option in the meantime for you.

I also use the g410 doorbell and also use it as a video camera. I have linked these to my apple home so that they are automatically saved in my iCloud. I have to say, I’ve had this one for a few weeks now and it works really well. He also recognizes people from the photos app which is also visible in the camera feed.
