I have purschased the fp400 , after connecting it start blinking discovered by the aqara app but at sometime it ask to update my hub aqara m3 I did it but after that the fp400 stopped blinking and I’m not able to add it anymore , if I press the button for 5 sec it start blinking for 3 sec and nothing after that , tried to press 10 times and press for 10 sec unplug it for 24 h but in vain same problem, can you advise ?

Hi there and welcome to the forum.check if the update of the M3 was completed then unplug the M3 from the power for an min and plug it back and then after is connected try again to connect the sensor
Already tried , the problem is with the fp400 , it’s not blinking slowly. After I press the button for 5 sec it start blinking but it stop right away .
How do you power it?as mine use an apple power charger witch I trust also make sure that you M3 have an great power adapter too
I tried different plug but same result , The m3 hub is working for more than one year ,there are already 9 child devices connected to it with no issue , how we can factory test the fp400 tried 10 times button tried to press it for 10 sec for 1 min but with no luck same result start blinking after that it stop
Well then you should contact Aqara support too and explain that to them as my be the device is broken and it needs to be replaced
Hi OP, have you managed to resolve this issue? Im encoubtering the exact issue as u mentioned.
I was at first able to pick the protocol, and while attempting to connect m3 hub, i was told m3 needs to upgrade with latest firmware. Soonest I’ve the upgrade, fp400 behave exactly as u mentioned. 5 sec press and hold reset shows only fast blink that last perhaps 2-3 sec, no slow blink.
