For some time I am searching of a way to set a static IP on the aquara M3 HUM. I know and I already have it in the routre with DHCP resertvation but for security reasons (I am paranoid) I do not like this option at all.
@office7 I’m sorry, but I couldn’t find any information in the reference content regarding setting a static IP on the Aqara M3 hub. It seems this isn’t covered in the provided materials.

From what I know you can reserve an IP address for any device in the settings of your router, maybe depending on the brand. That’s what I did with my NAS for example. You just have to find your device by the mac address.
In the router, set a forced IP address for this device.
I ALREADY HAVE that done with ip reservation based on mac which is the only way a ip can be reserved for such a device, but it is not safe. Macs can be spoofed and wifi passwords easily cracked so that is why a static ip directly configured on the device+ dhcp disabled on router + mac acl is the best solution. Unless someoane found a way to do wpa2-enterprise + 802.1x or EAP-TLS on these devices
