I’m thrilled to share my latest project, Janet, a TTS and notifications machine that adds a touch of personality to my smart home setup. Inspired by the character Janet from the TV series The Good Place, this project has been a labor of love and a great way to integrate some fun into my daily interactions with technology.
What is Janet?
Janet serves as both a notifier and a conversational companion. She provides updates on my home’s status, offers witty remarks, and even answers questions in a unique and engaging way. With over 90 phrases and quotes at her disposal, Janet can generate hundreds of different responses, ensuring that interactions never feel repetitive.
