Recently, I had the absolute pleasure of winning a set of outdoor net lights in the #FindTheHide’n’Boos contest! It was such a delightful surprise, and the excitement only grew when I realized I’d get to share this joy with my niece and nephew.
The kids were over the moon when they saw the lights arrive while I was babysitting. They insisted on opening the box and hanging them up immediately, and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend the evening. We placed the lights under a tapestry since we don’t have any bushes—creativity in action!
The best part? They discovered the Govee app and were completely enchanted. Every time they switched the lights to a new scene, they acted like they’d caught Santa in the act! It was hilarious and heartwarming all at once. I wish I could have recorded their reactions—they were pure joy personified.
Though I didn’t get to capture the moment on video, it’s one of those perfect memories that I’ll cherish forever. It was such a simple thing, but it brought so much happiness to everyone involved.
