LED Lighting for Christmas Shelves - Seeking Recommendations

Hello everyone, I’m currently planning to add some festive lighting to my Christmas shelves in the living room. I’ve heard that LED strips could be a great solution, but I’m a bit overwhelmed by the variety of options available. I’d love to get some recommendations from the community!

The shelves are about 80 cm wide, and there are two of them stacked on top of each other. Since the shelves are placed against a bare wall, I’m hoping to hide the power supply and cables neatly, maybe running them down the side of the shelves. I also want the lights to be integrated with my HomeAssistant setup, so Zigbee compatibility would be ideal, as I’ve read that Wi-Fi can sometimes be less reliable.

I’ve come across a few LED strip options, but I’m not sure which one would work best for this setup. I’m looking for something that’s easy to install, energy-efficient, and of course, creates a nice festive ambiance. Has anyone here had experience with similar projects? Any tips or product suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I’m also curious about how others have managed to hide their wiring for a clean look. Maybe there’s a clever way to route the cables without them being too noticeable. I’d love to hear your creative solutions!

Thank you in advance for your help and suggestions. I’m really excited to get this project started and can’t wait to see how it turns out!

Best regards,
