LED Lighting Integration with Homematic: My Experience

As I dive deeper into my Homematic setup, I’ve encountered an interesting challenge that I’d like to share and explore with the community. I’ve recently acquired an LED strip that I want to integrate into my smart home system, specifically using the Astro functionality for timed switching. The LED strip is powered by a transformer with a switch input, and I’ve installed a sensor switch to control it. While the setup works on its own, I’m curious about integrating it seamlessly into my Homematic ecosystem while retaining the functionality of the sensor switch.

I’ve tried connecting the transformer to my Homematic CCU, but I’m not entirely sure how to configure it to work with the sensor switch. Is there a way to link these components so that the LED strip can be controlled both manually via the sensor and automatically through the Homematic app? If not, what alternative solutions could I explore?

This project has been a great learning experience, and I’m excited to see how the community can help me take it to the next level. If anyone has successfully integrated similar setups or has tips on optimizing the connection, I’d love to hear your insights! Let’s collaborate to make this setup as efficient and user-friendly as possible.

Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions!
