Lighting Synchronization Challenge and Solution

I’ve been experimenting with my Govee H6117 lights for a while now, and I just wanted to share my experience and the solution I found after some digging. I installed these lights on my bed and nightstand, and while they looked great, I noticed an issue with their synchronization. The light on the bed rotated clockwise, while the one on the nightstand went counter-clockwise, creating an uneven effect. It was a bit frustrating, but I decided to tackle it head-on.

After some research, I discovered that the Govee app allows for customization of each light’s settings. I realized that the issue was with the calibration of the lights. By adjusting the rotation direction in the app, I was able to sync both lights perfectly. It was a simple fix, but it made a huge difference in the overall ambiance of my room.

I wanted to share this because sometimes the solutions to our problems are right under our noses. If anyone else is experiencing similar issues, I encourage you to explore the app’s settings—you might find the answer there too!

It’s amazing how a little tweak can transform the experience. I’m now inspired to try out more lighting effects and see what else I can customize. The Govee community is really helpful, and I’m grateful for the tips I found while searching for a solution. Happy lighting!
