Hi everyone, I’ve been experiencing an issue with my lights group in Home Assistant, and I’m hoping someone can shed some light (pun intended) on what’s going on. I’ve set up a group for the lights in my living room, which are controlled by two flows: one turns them on at sunset, and another turns them off around 11:30 PM. Everything seemed to be working smoothly at first, but lately, I’ve noticed that the lights are switching on and off randomly throughout the day and night. It’s quite perplexing!
Here’s what I’ve observed: the flows are working as intended, switching the group on and off at the scheduled times. However, the group itself seems to have a mind of its own, toggling the lights without any apparent trigger. I’ve checked the logs, and they show the group making these random changes, but there’s no indication of what’s causing them. I haven’t created any flow named “group,” so that’s not the issue.
I’ve tried a few troubleshooting steps. First, I reviewed the group configuration to ensure there were no hidden settings causing the issue. Then, I checked if there were any other flows or automations that might be interacting with the group, but nothing stood out. I also considered the possibility of interference from other devices or integrations, but I haven’t made any recent changes that could explain this behavior.
If anyone has encountered something similar or has any ideas on how to resolve this, I’d be incredibly grateful. Maybe there’s a setting I’ve overlooked or a common fix for this kind of issue. For now, I’m keeping a close eye on the logs and hoping to spot a pattern that could lead me to the solution. Thanks in advance for any help or insights you can provide!
