I’m replacing my Ring devices and already purchased the door entries and motion detectors- who did you get to install your door handles and cameras is it a locksmith or electron?

Most people go with a locksmith for door handles / smart locks, and either DIY or a low-voltage electrician for cameras.
That said, a lot of people actually install everything themselves. Smart locks and battery-powered cameras are usually pretty straightforward if you’re comfortable with basic tools.
A locksmith is still a good option for door hardware if you want a perfect fit/alignment or if the door needs adjustments.
For cameras:
Battery cameras → very DIY-friendly
Wired cameras (PoE / hardwired) → better with an electrician or security installer

Hi @thelastunicorner ! Most installations can made by yourself but if you prefer to get it installed by a professional then hire an electrician for the doorbell

Usually you’d have a locksmith do the locks and an electrician or low-voltage specialist for cameras. But you may also be able to hire a smart home integration specialist to do it all. Depending on your location you may have someone in your area. This is what I do as my business.
I’ve installed all my door locks, cameras doing any wiring needed myself as I am comfortable doing this. Doorbells are typically straightforward as you can just cut power to the transformer powering it and install the new one if using power.
Door locks are mostly remove/replace. I’ve only had to adjust the depth once to allow the deadbolt to sit perfect.
I always take my time and recommend to everyone who is not comfortable to get an electrician to do the low/high voltage work.
To be honest my Aqara devices have been some of not the most simplest to install. As was mentioned above if you send photos it can be easier to help out here too.
It depends. My door lock was not compliant with EU/UK standard so I had a locksmith do that for me, but as fares the doorbell and the Aqara lock (U200) did it all myself. It isn’t difficult.
If you install the G4/410 then you have to decide on battery power or an external power supply. I actually used an old Netatmo power supply I had which met the requirements so then it is how do you get the power outside. I just drilled through the door frame.
With the G400 it is PoE or power. I replaced my G4 with the 400 so still use the same power.

I had to hire my HVAC service company come help install my W200 Thermostat. I got the thermostat unit installed and wired on the wall but I needed the C-Wire harness installed on my heat pump. My heat pump is an older unit with no C-Wire and I was not comfortable doing that myself. Live and learn.

I found a locksmith knowledgeable with their products who was willing to fit me in. No time for that day for replacing the Ring camera for the Aqara, but can do all the wireless doors. Is there any type of relay device that is needed to run any of the doors? Is there equipment I need for them?
I got most secondary doors a u50 but the main doors are u300s. This home has an ADU so there are multiple entry points.
This may be something to do on my own, but my nerves are shot with an ex who keeps entering my home while gone and now finalizing the divorce- the locksmith is scheduled the moment he removes his things so relative safety can be secured immediately.
anyways, I just don’t want the locksmith to be missing any needed equipment once they arrive - big concern.
