Looking for a Dedicated Aqara IR Controller for A/C

I really like Aqara’s ecosystem and product lineup — solid quality and Matter support are big pluses. However, I’m specifically looking for an infrared remote controller for air conditioners, and it seems like Aqara only includes IR functionality in their higher-end M2 , M3 hubs and cameras, which feels limiting.

I wish Aqara (or any third-party brand compatible with their system) would release a dedicated IR blaster — ideally with built-in temperature and humidity sensors, without the need to purchase an entire hub just for IR control.

Is anyone else hoping for the same? Or has anyone found a good alternative that works well with Aqara/Matter setups?

Hi @mundhir ! I’ve been wondering the same thing for a long time, I’m using the Tado V3+, but I hope @aqara had something to use with its ecosystem

Hi @mundhir, not in Aqara ecosystem I do though Apple HomeKit, then I can create virtual buttons to add those in S1Plus, S1E and S100, but I don’t have full control of the AC… I think @aqara should create a really cool IR controller bringing us full control of IR AC, TV…
