M1S Hub lost connectivity after router restart

Hi,
I’ve had an M1S Gen2 for a year now, working fine. Had to restart our router yesterday and afterwards the hub wasn’t connecting - I found it with a white static LED where normally I have the LED off. Tried a soft reset with 10sec hold, it went into pairing mode flashing yellow but my phone couldn’t see it while trying to add it back. Removed hub from the app, tried soft reset again, nothing. Bit the bullet and tried a factory reset with 10 quick presses, same result. Set my access point to 2.4ghz, no bueno. Made a 2.4ghz hotspot with another phone, nothing. The device says “ready to connect, please open the aqara home app” on startup, then flashes yellow, but my phone can’t see it - eventually after a few minutes it gives up and the LED stays static white. I’m in touch with aqara support but I thought I’d write here as well, since I’d really like to get this up and running asap. Anything else I could try?

Cheers!

Hi @Excessium! Normally should be enough if you just unplug the M1S and plug it in after it didn’t connected to the router anymore (if you didn’t make any changes in the router settings)

But now you madd a reset… Maybe you did change to the Mijia bounding and not in Aqara settings anymore?!
Can you provide a video, where we can say what the M1S tells you what to do after reseting?

Hi, as i wrote above it says “please open the aqara home app” so it should be the in the right mode

Sorry over read this… So I would think the 2,4 Ghz is the issue - do you have 5ghz band and can switch it off?

I disabled 5ghz on my access point as well as the hotspot I made, without seeing any improvement.
