I have a presence sensor FP2 and the only way to get it to Home Assistant was through Matter via my Aqara M3 hub using Signal Management. The signal is, when my FP2 Illuminance Lux is 0 and that is used to control some automation within Home Assistant.
It stopped working the same day I upgraded to the new M3 firmware. Instead of registering a constant state, it fluctuates between its 0 vs its not every few minutes even though the house is pitch dark. Throughout the day, the FP2 lux constantly flips between showing its 0 and not 0. I tried deleting the signal and readding them in HA. But the automation still failed to run. I’ve tried pulling the plug out of the FP2, it did help immediately but as soon as it hit 0 at the right time at night, it started the whole pattern flipping from it’s 0 and not 0 every few minutes.
I’ve deleted the condition from my HA automation. Don’t think the issue is with the FP2. The issue is with the M3 new firmware that I have upgraded to. And that I’m not sure I have a fix. Or could I step down and go back to the previous firmware?
