I’ve been trying for years to make it so that a home theater is safe for the people watching a movie and for those arriving late. I do want people to turn on a light to mess with the mood as they come and go during the movie. So I used the Aqara FP2 presence sensor to detect motion towards or away from the seating area and lit that area using other Aqara products. Here is the video showing the entire process and the results. You can’t do with normal motion sensors, but it works perfectly with the MMWave CESShowcase based FP2. CESShowcase BeAPresenter
