I’ve been exploring ways to optimize my smart home setup, particularly around automating my thermostat and lighting during specific times of the day. I came across an interesting feature on my old Honeywell thermostat called ‘party mode,’ which allowed me to preset the temperature for a set number of hours. I wish my current system had something similar! It would be fantastic to manually set my smart home devices to ‘Away’ mode during specific times, like when I’m hosting a party or if I know I’ll be away for a few hours. Does anyone have tips on how to achieve this? Maybe through scene automation or scheduling apps? I’d love to hear your experiences and any workarounds you’ve found.
