Hi everyone, I’m diving into the world of iBeacons and trying to figure out how to fine-tune their detection range. I’ve set up a couple of iBeacons in my home, but I’m running into an interesting challenge. When I place them in separate rooms, both beacons seem to detect me at the same time, which isn’t what I want. I’m curious if there’s a way to limit the range so that each beacon only triggers when I’m in its specific zone.
From what I understand, this has something to do with the RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indication) values. Maybe I can adjust these settings on the beacons themselves or tweak the app to prioritize the strongest signal. I’ve tried looking into the app’s settings, but I’m not entirely sure how to approach this.
Has anyone else encountered this issue? I’d love to hear how you’ve managed to configure your iBeacons for more precise zone detection. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated!
