After being captivated by Google’s Material You design principles, I decided to recreate that aesthetic within my smart home setup. The result? A seamless, visually stunning interface that aligns perfectly with modern Material Design 3 specifications.### My ExperienceThe implementation process was both exciting and rewarding. I utilized the Material You Theme and its companion module, both available on HACS. These tools allowed me to:- Customize Color Schemes: I experimented with various color palettes, leveraging both the original 2021 and the expressive 2025 specifications. The ability to generate custom themes was a game-changer for achieving that perfect look.- Enhance Component Styling: The companion module injected styles into Home Assistant components, ensuring every element adhered to Material Design 3 guidelines.
