Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to connect the home-assistant-matter-hub add-on to Aqara M3. The problem is not in your settings, but in a fundamental technical limitation. The reason is that the home-assistant-matter-hub add-on creates a so-called uncertified Matter bridge. For security reasons, the Aqara M app and hub require that all connected Matter devices (including bridges) have a valid certificate from the Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA). Since this add-on does not have certification, Aqara M3 will reject its connection. So even if you follow the steps correctly, the process will fail during the final pairing in the Aqara Home app
Will it be possible to connect to a matter hub without certification?
I have FW 4.3.7_0036 in the M3 Hub, when I create a new unit in the Matter hub add-on in Home Assistant, I can’t add it to Aqara, but I can add it to Google Home. Where could the error be? Thank you
I added a thermostat through this matter hub but I can’t add fans and a robot vacuum cleaner. What could be the problem? Does the M3 Hub support adding a vacuum cleaner and fan through matter?
