I’ve been experiencing an interesting issue with my Matter devices and my ASUS RT-AX88U router with two AIMesh nodes. I have four Matter devices: three Meross MS600 mmWave sensors and one TAPO P135 plug-in dimmer. Whenever I need to reboot my router, all these devices fail to reconnect to my Home Assistant setup. While the WiFi connection to the router is restored without any problems, each device requires manual reinstallation by clicking the Initialize button on their respective device pages. This behavior is consistent every time I reboot the router. I’m curious if this is a common issue with Matter devices or if it’s specific to my ASUS router setup. Other than this phenomenon, my WiFi and LAN network performance is solid. I’m wondering if there are any workarounds or solutions to streamline the reconnection process after a router reboot. It would be great to hear from others who might have encountered similar issues or found effective solutions.
