I have been frustrated by devices randomly appearing as “unavailable” and “no response”.
To help this, I bought 4 matter/thread outlets (Eve, since Aqara has not released a U.S. version)
My network has improved greatly! My thread network is all green and yellow lines now (in Thread Doctor).
Just sharing here for anyone who might need to do the same thing.

Eve Outlets are nice, It’s also nice to have the power consumption monitor too.

Originally, confusingly called Routers… now called Thread Mesh Extenders.
Should be anything that is plugged in.

I agree whole-heartedly: any Matter/Thread device that is plugged in should be an extender. Eve plugs are great for this. Others (I’m looking at you, TP-Link/Kasa), not so much.
