Hi,
Would it be possible to add the Valve Configuration and Control cluster when the valve is connected via the M3 Hub bridge that supports the Matter bridge function?
Home Assistant supports this type and cluster.
As it stands, it is only recognized as a switch.

@ludovic_boue You seem to be experiencing an issue where the Aqara Valve Controller T1 is only recognized as a switch instead of supporting the Valve Configuration and Control cluster when connected via the M3 Hub bridge with Matter bridge function. You can contact customer support for assistance. Contact the Aqara Home App Customer Service Team (Home > Help & Feedback > Customer Service) or scan the QR code:
This will be more efficient. If you do not have an Aqara Home account, “Please

Hi,
I’d like to follow up on this topic, as I haven’t received a technical answer yet.
Is there any plan to expose the Valve Configuration and Control cluster for the Aqara Valve Controller T1 when it is bridged through the Aqara M3 Hub’s Matter Bridge?
Currently, the device is exposed only as a generic switch, which prevents Home Assistant from treating it as a proper Matter valve.
Since Home Assistant already supports the Valve Configuration and Control cluster, having the T1 exposed using this cluster would provide much better integration and allow proper valve control and state representation.
Could you please let us know:
- whether this cluster is planned/supported;
- whether it could be enabled through a future M3 Hub firmware update;
- and, if so, whether there is an estimated timeframe?
Thanks!
