Hey everyone!
I’ve been experimenting with the Wyze Sense v2 sensor and wanted to share some insights and tips that might help others optimize their motion detection setup. ![]()

I noticed that the v2 sensor doesn’t cover the same range as the v1 model, especially when it comes to detecting motion at different levels in a room. After some trial and error, I found that angling the sensor downward at about 45 degrees significantly improves its performance.
This adjustment helps it pick up movements more effectively, whether you’re sitting in a chair or moving around the room.
For those looking to mount their sensors, I recommend using 3M mounting tape cut into half straps.
It’s a simple yet effective solution that keeps the sensor secure without any complicated installations.
If you have any additional tips or tricks for getting the most out of your Wyze Sense sensors, I’d love to hear them! Let’s share our experiences and help each other create smarter, more efficient home setups. ![]()
