Hi everyone, I wanted to share my experience with Wyze cameras and how I’ve been working to maximize their security. I’ve heard a lot about the importance of subscriptions for cloud storage, but I’m curious about the local storage option. From what I understand, without a subscription, the camera only stores recordings locally and uploads snapshots to the server. This makes me wonder—if I configure it this way, would Wyze developers or hackers have access to my recordings? I’m trying to create a setup that’s as secure as possible, especially since I have young kids and want to ensure their privacy.
I’ve also been exploring the idea of combining multiple cameras for better coverage, but I’m not sure how to integrate them seamlessly. Has anyone else experimented with this?
