After experimenting with Home Assistant and struggling with my mesh setup, I realized I might have been overcomplicating things. I have a Sonoff S31 Lite in every room, and until recently, most were just acting as repeaters. That all changed this weekend when I found a creative use for these little plugs!
I decided to use a cheap plug to extend the life of those small Glade-type oil warmers. It’s a simple solution to freshen the air without constantly buying new units. Now, I’m pondering whether to set them on a schedule or have them turn on and off based on presence. Either way, I’m thrilled to finally make use of these previously dormant plugs!
