Hi everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience with integrating my MaxxiCharge system into Home Assistant. After some research and tinkering, I managed to create a custom integration using HACS, which allows for a seamless and graphical setup without needing to modify the configuration.yaml file. It’s been running smoothly for me, and I’d love to hear if anyone else has tried it or has suggestions for improvement.
Another thing I’ve been working on is setting up my Z-Wave devices. I have a Raspberry Pi 3B running Home Assistant alongside an Intel NUC as my main system. I’m trying to use the Raspberry Pi solely as a Z-Wave hub while managing the devices from the NUC. I’ve been using the Z-Wave JS UI Add-On and setting up a WebSocket server for communication. It’s been a bit of a learning curve, but I’m hopeful this setup will work well.
I’d appreciate any advice or experiences others have had with similar setups. It’s amazing how versatile Home Assistant is, and I’m excited to continue exploring its capabilities!
